Time and time again, we get inquiries about what makes us better than other Land Rover builders out there. While our vehicles speak for themselves, we never shy away from transparently (and proudly) explaining why our builds are on another level entirely. It would be better to show you, but unless you plan on stopping by the Rover Dome any time soon, we'll just tell you.

Location, location, location

Being based right here in the U.S., Kissimmee, FL, to be exact, allows our clients to easily get to our facility whenever they see fit. Making their design appointments, check-ins, and test drives a breeze — no need to bring out the passport or worry about international travel. Plus, we're based in the state that's constantly ranked with the #1 beaches in America; think of a trip to the Rover Dome as business and pleasure with an extra side of pleasure. Not to mention we're really, really, REALLY close to Disney World. Our facility is currently over 30,000 square feet and growing with a state-of-the-art paint booth, in-house hydro-dipping and upholstery, and a/c.

100% In-House

As mentioned earlier, we have every tool at our disposal to build our custom Defender vehicles 100% in-house. We don't rely on outside vendors for mechanical work because we trust the quality staff and techs under our roof to do the job and to do the job right. Other builders may have vehicles here in the U.S., but it's usually because they've partnered with third-party mechanics who sort of, kind of know their way around an old land rover Defender. With actual Land Rover techs and techs who have been working strictly on these vehicles for years, we are proud to say our workforce is a true force indeed.

Servicing

With a U.S.-based location and a Land Rover Vet Tech, who is now our Warranty Manager, our servicing system is like no other. We come to you or easily have your vehicle sent to us. Simple as that. No need to worry about how you're going to ship it back overseas or which random company/shop you'll get sent to for repairs. We offer our own extended warranty as well as all of our GM drivetrain builds include a 2-year, 50,000-mile warranty that's serviceable at any local GM dealer across the country.

Quality, quality, quality

We want to circle back to the awesome techs we have working at the Rover Dome. There are currently 50 of them, and they each have their purpose and passion. We work with the highest quality of parts dealers, and with our years of experience in the industry can confidently say our builds are hand-crafted with the best of the best. We also have several checks and balances that ensure your build is quality control checked through every single bay. It is fully rebuilt from the ground up, so our 400-point inspection is absolutely essential and invaluable.

Superior customization

Having everything done in-house gives us another advantage. While other builders send you a vehicle that is a part of a "line" or looks like it's straight off the production line, each of our original Defenders is just that, original, one-of-a-kind, no other like it out there. We have a full 3D design process, allowing our clients to select every single feature on their custom vehicle down to the color of the stitching. There's nothing that screams "dealership" or generic about our custom Defenders. We encourage innovation, outlandish ideas, cool colors, and just about anything that allows the vehicle to speak to your individual nature as a lover of these vehicles. Our concierge team gives bi-weekly updates with photos in your own custom portal so you can see your build as it comes through our production line.
