ECD Automotive Design (ECD) recently completed its first-ever bespoke Jaguar E-Type build, a series III roadster dubbed “Project Dallas Commission,” the company announced. Added to its production line in 2022, the 2,200-hour build starts with the selection of a series II or series III and the choice of either a roadster or coupe, the company said, and allows clients to decide on interior, exterior and audio and electronic options. Additionally, clients are offered three drivetrain options – GM LT1, ECD’s second generation EV system or a historic Jaguar engine with the 4.2-liter inline in the series II, or the V12 in the series III.
