December 13, 2023, was an incredible day for ECD Auto Design as our leadership and many team members had the honor to stand at the NASDAQ and ring the opening bell. For the first time the company was being traded as a public company under the symbol ECDA. The story of how ECD became a publicly traded company within 10 years is phenomenal and the energy that surrounded the team that week was incredible. ECD is a dream maker for the car enthusiast that appreciates the iconic era of classic Land Rover Defenders, Range Rover Classics and Jaguar E-Types. The company restores and customizes these iconic vehicles to customer specifications.

The Day After NASDAQ:  The Human Element

The day of the NASDAQ is a story in and of itself, but what happened the next day was truly priceless. The scene as leadership returned to the Kissimmee, Florida headquarters was much more than business as usual or the typical corporate or manufacturing setting that you might expect. Every employee walked out with their heads raised high, and applauded leadership as they returned from New York. It was an applause of gratitude to be a part of something so incredible. It was applause that was so heartfelt and inspiring that everyone felt like an irreplaceable cog in the wheel of this success story.

At the center of the celebration stood the leadership team including Scott Wallace, Tom Humble, Elliott Humble, Emily Humble and Raymond Cole, a group of visionaries who had and continue to work incredibly hard to make so many dreams come true. These dreams include those of each employee to be part of the ride while using their talents; the customers that now own a classic icon that is reimagined to be one of one; and those of the investors who can now become part of the adventure.

Imagine a working day at ECD, where every vehicle is built bespoke, curated uniquely for each individual. Every vehicle is an opportunity for the company’s craftsmen to build something unique and new every day. There are very few places in this world that allow such a talented workforce a chance to be part of something so incredible and the pride of being recognized and traded on the NASDAQ was emotional and inspirational.

As leadership stood in the center of their talented team, many took a moment to express their gratitude and passion for the company. There were tears of joy and sincerity that can only come from the heart. It was an epiphany that this is so much more than a job for this team, it is a lifestyle, a dream come true. It was an epiphany that every vehicle is so much more than a sum of its parts but has a backstory of heart and soul crafted in with each custom component.

The day after ECD rang the opening bell at the NASDAQ and became traded as ECDA, the true story of the people behind the magic showed its amazing face. The human element that builds a dream design with the client and transforms an icon into a modern gem without compromising the nostalgia of its origins became apparent.
