How the Customization Process Works

The fun begins when you tell us you’re ready to choose a Defender style for your base vehicle and configure your build. You’ll find we take customization to the nth degree. You’re not just picking out a paint color. There’s so much more that goes into the personalization process. Our lead designer will help you select virtually every component of your vehicle including:

Once you’ve designed your custom rebuild, we’ll send you a mockup so that you can approve it before we work on bringing your dream vehicle to life. As soon as you’re happy with the mockup, we’ll go through our inventory to find the right base vehicle or scour Europe to find one and begin building.

That base vehicle will undergo a nine-step building process, which takes several months and involves multiple rigorous quality checks. Your vision becomes a reality when we deliver your custom-built Defender to you, ready to take you on your next adventure.

Project Ironhouse

Ironhouse was created with pure class and originality in mind as it incorporates everything the Land Rover Defender is known and admired for. It’s furnished with a 4.6 liter V8 engine as well as modern amenities including heated leather seats, wireless charging, and a Kenwood infotainment system.

Project Sapphire

Sapphire is finished in a breathtakingly beautiful Loire Blue and features a white top and a potent LS3 6.2 liter V8 engine that can crank out 430 hp when paired with a 6-speed automatic transmission.

Project Bumblebee

Bumblebee was specifically engineered for the driver who loves to stand out. It’s finished in bright yellow and features a Tango Cocoa leather interior with yellow stitching, a Rover V8 engine with manual transmission, and a Momo Indy Wood steering wheel with a new Roversnorth convertible top.
