IT ALL BEGINS WITH A CLASSIC DEFENDER

CUSTOM DEFENDER RESTORATION

The process of restoring a custom Defender can be pretty extensive, beginning with sourcing a rare base vehicle to start from. Once we have sourced a base vehicle and it arrives here at the Rover Dome, we begin the process of carefully tearing the vehicle down to be rebuilt from the ground up. The custom Defender’s chassis, body, and any other original accessories are meticulously repaired and repainted. Once the handcrafted vehicle has successfully made it through every stage of its rebuild, it’s thoroughly tested before being delivered to its new home.

| UNLIMITED PAINT CHOICES

CUSTOM PAINT CHOICES

We not only repaint our custom Defender builds to allow clients to make the vehicle their own but also to help prevent rust and water leaks; they are 25 years old, after all. During the teardown process, the body panels are taken off and sent two doors down to our state of the art paint facility, The Lab, to be completely stripped and repaired. The large booth makes the paint transformation quite the sight to see as the techs set out in the mesmerizing art of repainting each piece whatever color the client has selected. With the booth being state of the art, it, of course, comes with an insane sound system that allows music to accompany the techs as they paint.

| DEFENDER INTERIORS BUILT BY YOU

DEFENDER INTERIORS RE-IMAGINED

When it comes to selecting the finishes for your custom Defender, the possibilities are quite endless because we have all of our upholstery done in-house. The combinations make every vehicle truly one of a kind, from Corbeau to Puma front seats and seat layout options and interior upgrades and features. We’ve had builds with alligator skin seats, deerskin seats, striped patterned, and custom embroidery. Clients choose from types of interior materials for their custom Defender such as suede, leather, cloth, or animal skin, and then select from a range of colors and textures to ensure it is a truly one of a kind build that matches their style. A recent popular trend we’ve seen come through the Rover Dome is clients designing their custom Defenders’ interiors to match their Aston Martin, McLaren, Rolls-Royce, and other luxury vehicles to a T.

Our custom Defenders also include a range of drivetrain options to fit your style, from the 640 HP LT4 to the 2.8 Cummins Diesel (for heritage lovers), and even the new Tesla Direct drivetrain for those looking for a more sustainable powerhouse. | BUILD A TRULY SPECIAL BUILD

CUSTOM ADD-ONS

The best part of getting your Defender custom-built is that every accessory and upgrade are yours to pick. From Kahn wide-body kits to rooftop campers tents, the lifestyle fittings to choose from are both fun and plentiful. Our most recent modifications include a nearly full panoramic roof, mesh dog guards for windows, interchangeable tubular beach doors, custom shotgun, wine cabinets for the rear, and custom built-in refrigerators for the custom Defender. Even the smallest details, such as custom pink Brembo brakes or logo stitching, are all uniquely cool modifications that set each build apart. Seeing the finished product’s breathtaking result can make you pretty greedy in wanting to see what’s next to come down the line.
