This summer, E.C.D. announced its exclusive partnership with Electric Class Cars to bring the Electric Defender to life here in the U.S. But while the automotive industry focused solely on the Electric Defender, E.C.D. was introducing its new Tesla Motor Direct Drive-train as a new option for every series of builds in its line up of Land Rovers. This lineup includes the Defender, the Series 2A, and the Range Rover Classic. That being said, E.C.D. is now announcing it has begun the building of its first-ever custom Electric RRC build to be completed in early 2021.

The Electric Range Rover Classic (RRC) would be a first here in the United States and the process has already begun of the classic being rebuilt from the ground up. Over the next few months, E.C.D.’s followers and the automotive industry will watch as the vehicle comes to life, from bay to bay. While design details of the build will be revealed over time, we’ll be releasing photos and updates every Friday through November and December as the Electric RRC transforms into an E.C.D fully customized vehicle.

This newest addition to the E.C.D. showcase is bound to be a first here in the U.S. and an all-new way for vintage car enthusiasts to bring their love for classic cars into the 21st century. E.C.D.’s Tesla Motor Direct Drive-train offers an estimated range of 220 miles, has 100 KWH, and can go 0-60 in an estimated 5.5 seconds.

E.C.D.’s Range Rover Classic, aka the RRC, is a refined and luxurious take on the classic vehicle, extenuating its clean lines and old-school touches. The RRC is available in three distinct trims; Retro, Custom, and Signature, but each one offers its owner the ability to completely customize the vehicle inside and out with a range of color, material, and upgrade options.
