Once we have your design, we can order the specific seats and parts to bring your custom Defender to life. You can choose from a range of interior materials and seats. Puma, Recaro, Exmoor Trim, and Corbeau are some of your seat options. ECD offers a virtually limitless range of materials and colors for your custom defender interior. Some possibilities include animal hides, leathers, perforated leathers, and cloth in various colors. 

Our talented Upholstery team then strips the seats to add your customized material and stitch design. As they stitch the design and fabric onto your new seats, the rest of our cosmetics team is working to line your vehicle with sound and vibration dampening materials. Once this material is lined inside the vehicle, we then lay your choice of high-impact vehicle carpet.

With your vehicle lined, parts like your dashboard, custom headliner, and seats are test fitted to ensure adjustments are made where needed. Once the wiring is mostly complete so your dashboard and seats can be installed, the vehicle moves ahead to placing them into position, wrapped to make sure they don’t get any damage as the rest of your vehicle is completed. The team then moves on to installing your vehicle’s door cards. The door cards, like everything else we do, can be customized to your liking. You can have pockets, mesh pockets, or special material wrapping the interior of your custom defender’s doors. 

As your one-of-a-kind interior is completing its final stages, you’ll receive pictures and updates of the process in your ECD portal from our concierge team.
