The most notable difference between E.C.D.'s version of the E-Type over Eagle's or Singer's version of classic Porsches is E.C.D. allows buyers to choose the engine powering its E-Type creations. The powerplant options include the original 4.2-liter straight-6 that came in the series II E-Type or the V-12 from the series III. You can also swap in a crate version of the GM LT1, rated for a maximum of 460 horsepower and 465 pound-feet of torque. Another choice, and probably the most unique, is to remove the drivetrain altogether and swap it with a slab of batteries and electric motors from Tesla.
