What used to be the very first office and sole building of E.C.D has since been expanded and transformed into our premium Design Studio. Looking back, the layout of the office is completely different and now hosts a range of new features that help our clients get a real feel of their design and build options.

The E.C.D. Design Studio, headed by Sales and Design Director John, is where the design and concept magic happens. A client might come in with one idea of how they expect their custom Defender may look, but upon seeing finishes and actually feeling materials, their design could change completely. Upon arrival for a design meeting with John, clients walk into the studio where upholstery materials, colors, paint samples, steering wheel, and wheel samples decorate the walls, waiting to be selected. To us, walking into such a setup would be like the cliche kid in a candy store.

In more recent years, E.C.D. has made updated changes to our Design Studio that not only includes the elements of the office but the innovations to our design software as well. We recently refreshed the look and feel of the studio to match the superb quality of our vendors and products. This refresh includes a layout that now best shows off the finishes and features for our custom Defender builds.

Since designing a one-of-one custom vehicle can take time, we also upgraded the lounge area of our Design Studio, so when clients aren’t out on a test drive or watching other builds come to life, they can relax comfortably. To ensure they’re entertained, we’ve provided comfortable furniture, new leather samples, and a new accessories display to browse through as they make decisions.

With the introduction of our new 3D Design software, built by our Graphic Designer Tenyo and Marketing Manager, Kevyn, clients can now see a fully 3D rendered model of their vehicle live when they attend their design meetings for their custom Defender. Any changes, updates, or features they want to add can be previewed on the spot to ensure the vehicle is truly their dream Landrover Defender. E.C.D has also upgraded our Design Studio to include a separate design table for a more interactive and personalized experience. As an added bonus, a much larger tv to view renderings and enhance visualizations has also been added to improve the design experience.

Since our founding in 2013, E.C.D. has prided itself on having beverages on-site that truly reflect the culture of E.C.D, our founders, and the custom premium vehicles we build. From imported gin for our welcome packages to our founder’s favorite water, we hope to reflect every aspect of E.C.D. in anything we offer, including the client beverages. That being said, we’ve taken into account what our clients seem to love to drink and have added that to a newly stocked wine fridge.
