Choosing wheels for your custom Land Rover Defender should be about more than just looks (although we definitely like a set of good-looking wheels). They should function and perform in a way that’s suited for your driving style as well as the lifestyle of the vehicle. With every vehicle being unique and having its own individual journey, we have a ton of options for your vehicle’s wheels.

We often get asked about our branded forged alloy ECD wheels. They are exclusive to our builds and are designed in partnership with ADV1. These lightweight wheels have clean modern lines, are made to order and are available in sizes 18-20 inches. If your Defender will be used for daily driving, then it's best you opt for lightweight wheels for your build. We recommend lightweight alloy wheels since they are designed to be used for optimal performance and are ideal for better acceleration and braking.

The most popular brand of alloy wheels chosen by clients for their defenders is Kahn Design, although wheel styles range from 5-spoke steel wheels to Sawtooth Special Edition wheels.

If your defender will be an off-road crusader, then ideally you’d opt for steel wheels since they are tougher, more rugged, and great for handling the intensity of off-road driving. Steel wheels are also recommended if you prefer a wheel that offers a classic, heritage look, as the original Land Rover Defender wheels were steel.
